Bring your own container and scissors. Plant and recycled materials provided $30/person Saturday, October 12 Demonstration (1-2:30pm) by Master Koka Fukushima Open to people who are interested in Ikebana $15/person Welcom Banquet (6pm) Everyone is welcome. Master Fukushima will be at the banquet. This is a great opportunity to meet her. Dinner choice of Chiken or vegetarian pasta. $45/person Sunday, October 13 Continental Breakfast (8:30am) Open to everyone $20/person Workshop I (10am-12 noon) Theme: No Kenzan Arrangement in Shallow Container Open only to any Sogetsu member. Bring your own container and scissors. Plant materials provided $20/person Workshop II (1:30-3:30pm) Theme: Nageire Free style Open to the public and Sogetsu members. Bring an any style tall container and scissors, or purchase at workshop. Plant materials provided. $20/person Farwell Banquet (6pm) Everyone is welcom. Diner choice of Chiken or vegetarian pasta. $45/person About Master Koka Fukushima Ms. Fukushima started her studies in Sogetsu Ikebana in 1960 and she received the teacher diploma in 1965. In 1970, she began holding clasess for foreigners. Since 1982, in her capacity as Headquarters instructor, she has sent by Sogetsu Foundation and Japan Foundation to give demonstrations and workshops in more than 40 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, etc., as a cultural envoy of Japan. Currently, She is a first class teacher"Riji" of Sogetsu School, and Lecturer for International Class at Sogetsu Foundation and she she also holds individual classes at two locations in Tokyo. ------------------------------------------------------ Hotel Accomodation Special group rate for standard room at $79.00 + Tax per night from October 10 to October 14.
