Japanese Flower Arrangements
Kika Shibata, of Ikebana Arts in San Jose,
was four years old when her mother instructed
her to the art of flower arrangement. Kika
has been a master teacher of ikebana for
30 years. In this program, she will discuss
the aesthetics and techniques of the traditional
Japanese art of flower arranging and demonstrate
the creation of arrangements in several styles.
